EEEEEWWWWW!!!!!!!
Can you imagine putting this in your store front window!? It's in a desolate antique shop, in a small little town outside of Lake Tahoe, and the owner is just as mysterious as... who the heck this skeleton belongs too....I am wondering how he can have it in his window like that? He is selling it as authentic....from the 1800's, he states it was used by practicing doctors in France. But it just can't be real !?!?

Michelle is an extremely talented artist & I am so proud to be able to debut her first corset. Although, she has created bustiers years ago, which were in several fashion shows, tv, commercials, the movie SINGLES, photoshoots, magazines, newspapers, and also celebrities where enticed by these bodices. ARTAFAXX was the previous name... from Seattle, and quite famous. Needless to say she is back creating her love of corsetry. I hope this new venture will be a new & exciting journery for her!

Jose Eber!
Remember a while back I mentioned how much I hate my hair?! Well, I emailed Jose at his salon in California, just to see if someone would forward it to him, well, here is the note I received back today...
Dear Izabella,I am sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble with your hair. Many women for over 20 years have been coming to see Jose for one of his "one on one personal consultations" in his Salons. The Las Vegas salon will open in mid-December...But you can call the Beverly Hills Salon at 310-278-7646 and schedule a consultation appointment for $245.00, this includes a Haircut and a Style by one of Jose's stylists. Now if you would like a Haircut by Jose himself you can get it for $500.00.No matter what you choose to do I wish you all the best! And remember to try to work with what you have and do not try to go against nature...Sincerely,Carole CorrevonExecutive Assistant
So here is my thinking on this note....well....it didn't get forwarded to him, booohooo, and what the h@#l $500!!! that's alot of money to sit & talk with someone to fix my hair, but ya know I would consider it, that's how much I can't stand my hair, and to personally talk with Jose Eber, wow! that would be such an honor, I know he could peform miracles on this rats nest of mine!!! hmmmm 500.00 + hotel + gas + food + whatever else, = at least $1000.00 all for my hair!? am I worth it? seems pretty selfish to spend that kind of money, maybe I'll just do some more research on what the heck to do with my fried hair~ but then again~hmmmm
Rat Rod~ Rockabilly Car Show~
Ohhhhh, how I want one of these rat rods! I am so in love with the rust of it all!
Went to this car show last weekend & wow, what an absoulute culture movement this is, it was like time travel back to the 40's & 50's... pin up girls, guys in dyed black greased back hair, rolled up Levi's, black leather jackets, tatooes, piercings. Looked like the bad kids from the movie Grease.
The cars are usually rusty, dented, with flat paint jobs no clear over the paint. Alot of the cars had actual flames shooting from the exhaust!
They were filming a movie for tv that day, so I talked with the producers & others about the making of this movie, they call it the "rat rod generation movement"
Later that night I was going to again, attempt to race my truck, but they weren't allowing any more cars to enter to race. Last week I had the superchip programed into my truck, wow! what a huge difference in the shifting & the horsepower...it is sooo quick, it has scared me a few times, almost lost it around corners. So I am anxious to see how fast it will go in the quarter mile, so I will try again to race next week.

Keith Lo Bue art piece~
I have been wanting to show this off. Here is a piece of art I bought from Keith Lo Bue, if you haven't seen his work, it is a must...it is amazing how he puts together found objects, he is definately a gifted artist.
He is the one who inspired me to do art. I found an article in a magazine almost a year ago & I have been hooked on creating art ever since, although I haven't done assemblege/jewerly like his but hope to someday soon. Maybe I will get lucky one of these days to take one of his sought after workshops, they fill up so fast...which I missed out on Artfest this year...boohoo, well I can always try again next year~
Keith did mention about this piece, it is his very first feminine piece~
The Voice
Made with 19th century bezel pin, victorian glass, peacock feathers, seashells, steel engravings, paper and text.
This pic does not do it justice...in person it is stunning...I am so afraid to wear it, for fear of losing it....I framed it~

My ugly doll~
Is she the cutest, or what!?
That little twinkle of a smile, from her rhinestone button mouth.
Those lovely red dreads.
The necklace of pearls,
What a beauty queen she is!
NOT! Looks like she has had a rough life, but I love her just the same.
I bought her last weekend, for a steal, she was the last ugly doll left on the table, the poor wretched soul~
