temporarily I have lost my inspirations for creating~ while in search of it this morn, I found that... "something"... the gasp of your soul, secretly shaking your insides, it's beyond words, simple words cannot describe, only you can feel it, only you know what shakes your being to the core. This is one of those moments for me, taking me a step further into my lil' art world, hopefully to help in my neverending search for new inspirations.

I selfishly, at first did not want to share my new found love, but how could I not share this.

Hinged Watch Case Locket
Learn how to turn an old, non-working wristwatch into a beautiful keepsake locket. We’ll start with a watch case and found objects, add some wire, learn some winding, bending and shaping techniques and turn it all into a unique piece of jewelry.


Woven Copper and Steel ‘His and Hers Bracelets’
In this class students will learn to weave wire and incorporate that into pair of bracelets. The framework of the bracelet is fabricated from steel wire that has been shaped and forged by hand.

If you have been wanting to come to Vegas, here is a perfect excuse, to come play & take a class from this well known artist! shhhh, here's a secret.... he is one of my FAVORITE jewerly makers!)

Age of Chivalry~

If there was ever a time that I could go back in time and visit...it would be the midieval days, it intrigues me so~ The manly knights in armour, the elaborate costumes of the rich, the pure delight of the swordsmen & the adrenalin rush of jousting on horses, is beyond words~

This weekend was the renaissance festival.... I secretly want to run away & join the circus, I mean run away & join the other gypsy souls that travel across the countryside selling their wares, or performing at these renaissance fairs, I am so in love with their freespirit~

There were people selling art all over the park & here is this amazing artist, creating a masterpiece from chalk on the sidewalk! She is from California & I lost her name & website address, anyone know her!!!???

It started to rain when I was taking these pictures, I had to leave I knew I would start crying if I saw it being washed away~

It seems as though it hasn't rained here for months!

Compared to living in Seattle where it rains every other day....I long for rainy days here because they are brief. I love it with the windows open, and the sounds of thunder in the distance, so soothing like a tropical rainstorm~

LIFE GOES ON
As I was reminiscing the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001 I was looking through the newspapers and magazines I saved. In one of the magazines was a black and white photo..but no it wasn't, it was a color photo but everything was either black or shades of grey. People walking down the street coming from Ground Zero were covered in ash. It had the same effect on me it did that day in September of 2001.
