I heard through the grape vine~

I hear that the lovely Johnny Dep is working on another Pirates of the Caribbean "Dead Man's Chest" anticipated release for the United States is July 7th 2006....and another Pirates 3 in 2007!

I watched "Chocolat" last night...what is it with Johnny & chocolate!!??

What a week!

This has been a crazy week! I want to extend personal thank you's... to every single person who has written me such uplifting and encouraging notes...I appreciate the love!!

I haven't been posting this week as a stupid freak accident happened at a store....a huge glass vase fell & sliced my right hand & fingers...owwweeeee it hurts....but I have found I can get alot done with one finger!! So I have been catching up on much needed reading time & lots of movies, which I never seem to find the extra time to do.

Can't wait to get back to creating some art, hopefully in the next couple weeks!!!

A letter~

I received a letter, a humiliating & heartwrenching letter, I am consumed with grief from it. I can't understand why someone would or could say such things about someone else's art, especially if I don't even know this person~

She stated my art is basically evil, my use of nudity in my art is obscene, and that I am searching for something, and other things I just don't want to mention.

She doesn't know my heart, she doesn't know my motives for creating pieces, she has no clue as to who I am & why I create~

My heart is aching~

I went to buy the book yesterday, no where to be found.

In David's website you can buy his book for $40.00 & have it autographed~so I am buying it through his website.

Also, I found you can buy his posters, this one in particular, you can buy for $20.00 up to $150.00, this one includes: autographed by David & personalized to a name of your choice~ how kool is that!

A surprize ending to this auction!!!

Their altered book was pulled by ebay, relisted, sat for days at $500 and in the end.....Hannahgrey (ebay id) altered book sold on ebay for $1,136.11!!!!! All the proceeds being donated to Bernie Berlin's animal shelter " A Place To Bark" THATS WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT!!! love ebay auctions~

4 more days to go and my altered book on ebay, is sitting at $60.02 and 225 people have looked at it....and a ton of watchers...who are the watchers?! I wish I could see who they are....It used to be the more watchers, then there would be a bidding war in the end minutes...that is the exciting part about ebay, I guess you could say I am an ebay/art addict~

Last night I received a note from a watcher/potential buyer that they found me, by my book being on the ebay pulse page....the heck if I could find it ~ but my friend Lani who is ebay savvy, found it no problem. I am not exactly sure why it is on the ebay pulse page, they say it's because so many people are watching it? or so many people have looked at it, so it makes it on the ebay pulse page for being the top watched?! I don't think $60.00 is going to pay my trip to Artfest :) I guess I better get busy & make some more art...4 more months until artfest!

ZNE Theme Week ~Autumn Colors~

~Rust~ is my theme color, although the scan didn't pick up the whole word on her chest, it looks like "US", but the whole word "RUST" is visible in person. The foundation is a 4 X 4 tile. The papers have been ripped , collaged, splattered with walnut ink, watercolored & stamped and sealed with diamond glaze...I love the look of this piece.

It is scheduled to be listed for this Sunday night, around 6:30.

Once upon a time...I met an arrogant jerk~

The scene...a crowded room......I don't know a soul at this party.....this handsome man comes over to talk....so I thought....

Hello I am _____ My family owns _____! (I am thinking ok, what of it, who cares if your family owns ____company)

Hi...I'm Izabella.

The jerk speaks...."My wife just had a baby, that's why she is so fat." pointing to a beautiful lady, sitting alone.

I reply..."she looks great for just having a baby. (thinking to myself... she looks like a super model & must weigh all of 110 pounds)

The jerk says "She used to look better, before babies, she used to be thin like you. (as he is looking me up & down)

If my family didn't own____I would leave her, I hate being married! It would be in all the papers & mags, they would have a hayday with me...I guess I am stuck with her.

I am thinking this guy is the most arrogant man, I have ever meet. Just thecold heartless look in his empty eyes & his actions he displayed sickened me. I started to reply to his last comment...as I am in mid sentence, he gives me this strange look,doesn't say a word, gets up and walks away, never to return to our conversation the rest of the night.

Is this guy for real....are there really people so arrogant & yucky.....he reminded me of that guy on the show Survivor...remember the jerk Johnny Fairplay!? he acted worse than him.

3 days later and I am still thinking, what the heck was that all about~

I am so caught up up in the website "deviant art" it is so amazing...so many talented artists, I wish I could gaze for hours there, but alas, I need to get back to reality. If you need to take a mind vacation, I would highly recommend to spend an hour or so~
